The front line told through the lens of fourteen photojournalists, who with their shots showed the hell, the horrors, the suffering and the indelible scars of war. The voices, photographs and memories of men and women become the stages of a physical and emotional journey between past and present. Because the front line is not only where bombs are shot and dropped, but everywhere you "fight" daily for survival.

"Peso morto" is a 2022 documentary film, directed by Francesco Del Grosso. The work deals with the experience of Angelo Massaro who, due to a judicial error, spent twenty-one years in prison unjustly, before being found innocent and acquitted for a murder he never committed.

But in the life and in the poetry of their director, Armando Crispino, there is more, says his son Francesco. Searching for a meeting with his father in the maze of his production, he finds himself investigating the world of Italian genre cinema. Finding that even in this area left in the shadows by the critical discourse we can find more, and better, than we think.
