Retrograde

Follows 17-year-old Maria, a high school senior with dreams of becoming a dancer, whose starry-eyed plans for the future are put on hold when she gets pregnant by her boyfriend Tasos.

Humanity has been struck by a pandemic. People from around the globe have fallen asleep and nobody knows when they're waking up. Only few of them haven't been infected. Among them, there's a boy who fell in love with a girl right before the outbreak of the epidemic. With an old camera, he tries to capture the beauty that's left in the world, so the girl can see it when she wakes up.

Makis works at a fish farm. One morning, as he goes to work, he's told he’s dead… since the day before. After trying in vain to prove he's very much alive, all that remains is to accept the situation and find someone who will take care of his canaries before the funeral.

Night, national road. Two strangers meet for the first time at an old gas station. One has stopped to gas up his bike, while the other is just stranded. Lacking the 22 euros he needs to get home, he will try to sell him the distance that separates them from the sky.

20-year-old Chloe leaves her dysfunctional family to follow a group of romantic outsiders and help the forgotten of society. During her travel through a shattered Greece, she will dream, fly, and fall in love but also she’ll realize that the true rebels are always alone.

But in the course of a single day at home, time will pass like a dream. And when she opens her eyes, she will find that her waking life, outside the world of her empty dream state, is a much lovelier place to be in.
