Residents of One Way Street

We had a comfortable life until my father went bankrupt and I blamed him for our misfortune. Being 30 and still living with my parents, I do not speak with my father. It is my brother's wedding and I'm not attending his ceremony. I asked my friend to film the wedding and specially my father. This film is an occasion for me to revise my attitude toward every member of my family by talking to them.

The documentary "Blacks of Southern Iran" is about the history and origin of blacks in the south of our country, where they entered Iran and how they got used to the culture and customs there over the years.

The renovations of our university dorm were left unfinished because of the lockdown in Germany, and the thick fabric that they had put up around the building to contain the debris remained in place. During the lockdown, the 367 of us in this 25 story building could barely see the world outside through the tiny holes of this thick fabric.

Part of the population of Sistan and Baluchestan province for historical-political and social reasons have not yet been able to obtain identity cards and are deprived of government social support such as insurance and subsidies. Lack of identity cards is a factor that leads to unemployment and wrongdoing.

Since the late thirties, our lake has been drying up. Sometimes it is full of water and sometimes it is short of water. Based on Martyr Behrooz Moradi's notes and report, 'And Suddenly You Went Missing' leads us through the events of the 35-days of resistance of the city, against the attacks from Iraq. Photos come to life in front of your eyes as the narrator shares his personal experiences, all accompanied by original footage and photos of a time when life took on a new meaning.
