Life is Tennis

In 1933, a young woman and her father discover an Alabama plantation whose inhabitants live as if slavery had never been abolished. Feeling a sense of duty to those behind the heavy gates, she stays to liberate the people and see them through their first harvest. With four of her father's colleagues and a lawyer, she faces the daunting task of resurrecting the place known as Manderlay.

A 30-years old man is celebrating Midsummer's eve together with friends on the west coast of Sweden. He makes his friends come and watch as he is going to jump into the sea from a very high bridge.

Love and Sebastian meet each other by a coincidence at a street in the romantic Swedish summer night. They happen to share the same secret, but their encounter is going to cause severe consequences for the both of them. An innocent flirt soon turns in to a dangerously liaison.

Swedish drama based loosely on a true story. Marten Klingberg plays Peter, an engaged man who finds himself attracted to a gay man called Nassim (Pjotr Giro). Peter's life is suddenly transformed from one of married domestic routine to one of passionate lust and longing for his new gay lover. However, things take a tragic turn when Nassim is discovered dead and Peter is accused of his murder.

PAX is a grand-scale drama. An intimate and powerful romantic film about seven people's encounter with themselves as life forces them into the raging storm. They all have someone waiting. PAX, the Latin word for peace, is also flight terminology for flight passengers. When flying in an airplane we are all "pax".
