High-Quality Cow Feed

A satirical take on the issue of "sugran" – a new high-quality feed made from a mixture of dried fodder and whey. A satirical film directed against the squandering of social initiatives. Its critical tone led to a ban on its distribution. Ultimately, the film did not premiere until 1981.

A documentary film composed of private photographs taken from prisoners of Auschwitz-Birkenau. The authors use them to build a story, full of carelessness but also growing tension, about the end of the 1930s, the last days before the outbreak of war.

Scenes From The Director's Life

Shots from Hamlet's rehearsals at the National Theatre in 1970, directed by Adam Hanuszkiewicz, performed by Daniel Olbrychski. The film presents various stages of the preparations – from trying on the costumes and memorizing lines to the final staging.

What is Dudek?

The "Dudek" cabaret group, Edward Dziewoński’s lifetime achievement, one of the greatest post-war cabaret groups recorded by a documentary filmmaker during rehearsals. The stars of Polish acting could be seen on stage, accompanied by excellent songs by Wojciech Młynarski.
