Story of two gorgeous, young French boys who begin a passionate relationship that boils over and threatens to destroy both their lives. Shy 18-year-old Mathieu is on summer vacation in the south of France. He spends his days lazily sunning himself at the beach, until he spies the handsome Cédric and falls in love.

An English-German filmmaking couple retreat to Fårö for the summer to each write screenplays for their upcoming films in an act of pilgrimage to the place that inspired Ingmar Bergman. As the summer and their screenplays advance, the lines between reality and fiction start to blur against the backdrop of the Island's wild landscape.

Following a long prison term, 30 year-old Céline must find a place in society. Hiding her past, she introduces herself with a new identity to get work for a trial period in a hotel. Céline finds herself endlessly walking a tightrope between truth and fiction. When she meets Idir, despite the threat of being unmasked, Céline falls in love and finds herself a prisoner to her own lies. But how can one live without taking risks?

Saïd, 15, a teenager lacking in direction, lives with Soumia, his 14-year-old sister and Souad, their mother who has been depressed for a long time. One night, Souad falls into a coma and is taken to the hospital. Saïd and Soumia, left to their own devices, try to keep their mother's absence a secret for as long as possible to escape the shelter. Brams, 22, a neighborhood thug, quickly understands what he can do with the two children's weakness. Little by little, the apartment turns into a place of dealing. Saïd is captivated by his new friends. Soumia, put in danger by her brother's attitude, goes to live in a shelter. She triggers, much against her will, the institutions' investigation. Will Saïd, now alone with Brams, escape the shelter?
