The film tells the story of a man's struggle to prove his innocence after being falsely accused. İnci is the only daughter of factory owner Hayri Bey. She has a good relationship with her family until Turan, the factory manager, comes to ask for her hand in marriage. Her mother and father are enthusiastic about the marriage. However, İnci is keeping a secret from them. The young woman is in love with her father's driver, Doğan. Doğan is aware that there is an insurmountable distance between them. However, İnci refuses to accept this. Her family decides to marry her off to Turan. But Turan is not at all the person they thought he was.

The film tells the story of two lovers who portray each other as wealthy individuals. Nevin works as a secretary to support her siblings. However, she is unable to hold down a job for long.
