An adaptation of Alexandros Papadiamantis's short story. Passion for a woman and some desperate thoughts push a young man to secretly take a stranger's boat and set sail. The wind carries him away and he is shipwrecked. He comes to in a cave, near the deserted shores, among three eccentric people who, each for their own reasons, live on the margins of society. He listens to them recount their personal stories with humour and self-deprecation. But behind their seemingly ill-fated romances, he discerns true love.

Maria is caught between childhood and adolescence. After the sudden death of her classmate, she is once again confronted with loss. As she attempts to cope with this absence, Maria tries to find her own way to bid her loved one farewell.

Based on the short story by Nikolai Gogol, this blackly comic fairytale is about a lonely social outcast who, in an effort to raise his status at work, spends all his money on a new overcoat, which seemingly gives him the approval he craves. But when it's stolen from him, he cannot return to his previous life of anonymity, leading to a downward spiral from which there is no return.

The main theme of the series is the way in which a person is led to murder while each story in the series combines elements of drama, social stories and thrillers. The duration of each episode is 45 minutes and is in the form of a psychograph. While the stories in the series are based on real events that have preoccupied public opinion, their dramatization has undergone some changes.

1654, Ottoman Empire, Greece. A Turkish Warrior arrives heavily wounded at a remote Christian female monastery and is nursed by Anthi, a young nun under the oath of silence. They fall in love against all odds. But Anthi is tormented by a dark secret. The two lovers escape in the nearby forest, where Anthi's secret is revealed.

Athens, today. Three siblings face the prospect of selling their family home. The potential buyers will tear it down and erect a modern building in its place.
