Escape from Patagonia is a gaucho-western film set in the tumultuous Patagonia of late nineteenth century. It's a story of survival, based on real facts from the personal diary of the Argentinian pioneer Francisco P. Moreno.

Park Ranger Pablo Silva remakes his life in his new destination, a forgotten and troubled place that few want to go to, the Pereyra Iraola Park. Soon, under an apparent tranquility, he discovers a network of poachers, traffc and hoaxes. His old hunter instinct will arise. He can hide from everyone, except himself.

Sol, a 17-year-old teenager, moves with her mother to the Gonzalo's home, the actual mother's boyfriend. In this town, where from the beginning Sol only finds hostility, she must face bullying from her schoolmates and Gonzalo's harassment. While wandering the streets trying to find a way out, Sol meet a mysterious and magical female dog with whom she establish a symbiotic relationship. It be this dog, the one that violently and surprisingly, always appear to defend Sol until the last consequences.

If breakdance was a dance of cultural resistance of the Afro community in the US, perhaps this documentary shows a continuity with the northern Argentine adolescence. The Boys Street is a breakdancing group recognized through their presentations on the reality television show Talento Argentino, where they reached the final. Its members are adolescents between 12 and 18 years old from Palpalá, a town in the southeast of the province of Jujuy. Without technical knowledge, the group recorded the process of participating in the program with their own video cameras, crudely portraying their experience as a counterpart to the formality and aestheticization of reality. Los Boys recovers the history of the group at the same time that it captures the daily life of its members in the present day of Palpalá, a town that was recognized as "Mother of Industry" since it had several industrial parks, but was systematically dismantled after the coup d'état and during the privatizations of the '90s.

The discovery of several tapes recorded in 1985, during the "Trials of the Juntas," inside the Anti-Subversive Museum of Buenos Aires, allows for a rare reconstruction of the dictatorship's discourse and reveals the residual power of the military even under democracy. This film illuminates a particularly dark historical period and creates a tension: the exposure of the dictatorship's triumphalist rhetoric and the mannequins as a spectral presence of the disappeared.

High-altitude anthropologist and Head of the Qhapaq Ñan Program, Christian Vitry was part of the expedition which pulled out the Children of the Llullaillaco from within the volcano in 1999. This documentary closely frames Vitry's preparation process, among informative and human talks with the Koya community -who must give him permission to start climbing in the area-, and peronal stories that turn this story into a real travelogue.
