The third film of the film trilogy ("Personally known", "Emergency assignment", "Kamo's Last Feat") about the Bolshevik revolutionary S.A.Ter-Petrosyan, known as Kamo (1882-1922).

Twelve-year-old Pavlukha lives on a fishing farm with his mother. His father left his family long ago, in which, apart from Paulukha, he has two other children. To help his mother somehow, the boy goes to town to earn money...

In the difficult post-war years, Evsei did not want to work in the ruined collective farm and, leaving his family, went to the city. However, after many years the hero began to agonize over the separation from his native place and decided to establish relations with his first family.

Mukhtar comes to live and work at the police kennels through rather unusual circumstances. Together with his handler, Glazychev, Mukhtar helps to solve large and small crimes.

This film tells about two years of life (1904-1905) of the revolutionary-Leninist, one of the founders of the newspaper "Iskra" Nikolai Ernestovich Bauman, who was killed on October 18, 1905 by a Black Hundred, a security agent, during a demonstration of the Moscow committee of the RSDLP.

Summer of 1960. However, his persistent character, his timid and pure love for the switchwoman Zinka, who lives with her grandfather on a crossing lost in the steppe, makes the guys from the squad take a different look at this inconspicuous guy and at his relationship with each other.
