Adelaide and Virgínia met in 1937, a year after the German arrived in Brazil, fleeing the Nazi persecution of the Jews, where she came with her husband and two daughters. Together, they founded and popularized psychoanalysis in Brazil, breaking down barriers and prejudices. They were doctor and patient for 5 years, colleagues for more than 30 years, great friends their entire lives.

Pê was living his best years but gets frustrated when his family decides to move to his grandmother's house in Rio de Janeiro, his hometown. Kbela is an experience of being a woman and becoming black. The film’s screenplay is based on the tale of MC K-Bela, which tells the story of a black girl, a resident of Rio’s Baixada Fluminense region, who went through a process of whitening during her life and decided to liberate herself from this, letting her natural hair grow again, getting rid of chemical interference.

In childhood, Agrado meets João Raul during a radio contest in the countryside of Goiás. Like her, the boy dreams of becoming a singer, and the two decide to perform together a song composed by Agrado. However, unforeseen events separate them and lead to a misunderstanding that keeps them apart for many years. João Raul, now a major country music star, uses his social media platforms to search for Agrado, “the girl from his past,” who, unlike him, is still struggling to establish herself in the music industry.

After some emotional disagreements with Manu, Ayô turns to dating apps, where he meets João, with whom he forms an instant connection. Professionally, Ayô also finds himself reflecting after Carla, his agent, makes him realize the harsh reality of being a Black artist in an inherently racist society.
