Live performance by Dutch violinist and composer André Rieu recorded at his annual concert in his home town of Maastricht. Playing to a crowd of over 80,000 people, Rieu is joined on stage by the Johann Strauss Orchestra as well as some special guests including Mirusia Louwerse, The Platin Tenors and Lou Bega.

Kirill Petrenko conducts this live performance of the Berliner Philharmoniker with Diana Damrau. The programme features works by Richard Rodgers, Kurt Weill, Stephen Sondheim and Harold Arlen.

The Moment of Glory concert programme was first presented at the Hannover EXPO in June 2000, with Christian Kolonovits conducting the Berlin Philharmonic. The live performance was filmed to be released in VHS and Video CD in December 2000. In 2013 a Blu-ray version was released.

On the world renowned Museum Square in the heart of the city André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra entertained the audience for almost 100 minutes making the city waltz and swirl. The program features classics like Time To Say Goodbye , Don t Cry For Me Argentina and of course the title André wrote for the new King, the Coronation Waltz .
