1999 film

Set in the 1970s, this overlooked gem is about stripper Giu (Carrie Ng) and a mentally handicapped man named Biscuit (Wong He) making ends meet by becoming con artists.

Ko Chow is an undercover cop who is under pressure from all sides. His boss, Inspector Lau, wants him to infiltrate a gang of ruthless jewel thieves; his girlfriend wants him to commit to marriage or she will leave Hong Kong with another lover; and he is being pursued by other cops who are unaware that he is a colleague. Chow would rather quit the force, feeling guilty about betraying gang members who have become his friends.

Valentino is a mediocre con artist who crosses paths with Kwan, a fellow con artist. Together, they impersonate various people and create numerous schemes to make money. Meanwhile, gangsters are making a scheme of their own.

Gordon puts together a team of criminals to execute the bold robbery of a jewelry store. Before the team can get away, alarms go off and the police arrive. An intense gun battle turns into a deadly encounter. The survivors escape, only to begin questioning how the police knew about the robbery. Suspecting an undercover operative in their midst, they begin turning on each other.

An abnormal taxi driver lusts for blood every rainy night, and several young women are killed as a result. The murderer, Laiu, likes to take photos of the victims dismembered bodies as mementos. Inspector Lee is called onto the case in this bizarre thriller.
