A group of people traveling through Sweden. It is partly the shop assistants Inga and Britta who travel on a bike through the country, partly Nisse and Rut who are on a honeymoon and travel with a truck.

The Man All Wanted to Kill

A brutal businessman, Vilhelm Gerner, triggers a stock speculation by providing false information. Two of his partners, Smith and Grå, get ruined and therefore Smith commit suicide. Later, Gerner is found shot by his own gun. The police suspects at least seven persons. Most of them admits murdering Gerner. A reconstruction is staged in the presence of all the suspects.

Once Upon a Time

A peddler visiting a small cottage in the winter. He tells some strange tales for the family living there.

Harald Handfaste

Harald Handfaste is a 15th century Swedish Robin Hood, who fights against foreign oppression. He becomes the leader of a band of highwaymen and they start dealing with the evil bailiff. However, the bailiff will stop at nothing to catch Handfaste and show the people who is in charge. He even attempts to marry Handfaste's beloved Karin, and when she refuses to subdue, the bailiff decides to execute both her, her father and a monk who has been helping them.

During the great Nordic war in 1719, the Swedes have occupied parts of Norway. During the retreat over Tydal mountains most freezes to death. However, some seek refuge in mountain huts. The farmers chase them. The Swede hater Sjur come on tracks of Per Jons, seeking refuge in a mountain hut where Sjur's daughter Eli is located.
