Twin brothers who have been cat-and-mouse right from inside their mother's womb get separated when they are young. What happens to their enmity once they meet again?

Shankar(Prashanth) is a graduate of BSC nautical science, waiting for a job in the shipping industry. He is a tenant in the house of Banu(Simran), who is his good friend and confidante. They spend almost all their time together and she seeks him out as a refuge from her step brother Panneer(Raghuvaran), whom she dislikes but is forced to live together with. Shankar falls in love with Sarika(Laila). She reciprocates but problems and misunderstandings plague their romance.

Jagan and Jamuna spend all day chatting on their first meeting. Jamuna puts down her details on a 100 rupee note declaring that if the note comes back to Jagan, then they are destined to meet.

A goon, Rajaraman, enrols himself in a medical college to fulfil his father's dream. He defies the college rules and creates problems for Dr Vishwanathan.

By the time Tulsidas learns that his enmity with the police commissioner is false and tells Vasu to stay away from Mohana it is too late, Vasu's love has become real.

Modhi Vilayadu is a Tamil language film released on 24 July 2009. It stars Vinay Rai and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead roles. The film opened to mixed reviews with Indiaglitz.com rating it highly while Behindwoods said "The game lacks excitement". The film was a flop at the box office. The Film's plot involving heroine is based on the korean movie 100 Days with Mr. Arrogant.

Aadhi and Meera are in love. During their friend's marriage in his village, they intervene and help him marry the girl he loves, against the wishes of his parents, resulting in dire consequences.

The film revolves around the feud between the three brothers over property; two brothers, from their father's first wife on one side with their avarice for all the wealth with the righteous third, from his father's second marriage, trying to stop the family from breaking down. The feud that exists as an undercurrent in the presence of their father and turns ugly and personal after he passes away. It grows bigger with the two brothers joining in to elbow out the third but he graciously steps aside, only wanting to keep cordial relations. But, the two brothers are just not able to handle the huge wealth and the responsibility that it brings. Their wealth attracts trouble and it is up to the third to come back and save his brothers, against others who strive for the wealth while the crux of the plot revolves around if wealth does disintegrate the family.
