The Voice You See

After being sent to a youth detention centre, 18-year-old Andrej has to fight for his place within the group of inmates while getting closer to Željko, their informal leader, and struggling to keep his repressed secret in the dark.

The film takes place in Slovenia today. Johan (44), is a factory worker, who dreams of a dignified life for himself and his family. His best friend Janez introduces him to Zlatko, who doesn’t take bluetouth away from his ear, and he offers him a quick profit, better job and a raise. Accepting the offer Johan robs his wife's mother, who cheers for Manchester United, and his life after that moves downhill.

A detective runs into his violent brother he hasn't seen in twelve years. While trying to help him, his actions trigger repercussions that will shake their lives to the core.

The village Za hribom lies somewhere in the middle of the picturesque Dolenjska region, and it is home to a large number of nice people, led by the ambitious mayor Karel. But the election for a new mayor is just around the corner, and Karel wants to keep his mayoral seat at all costs.

The main character of the title lives a completely new life every time. Tomaž Kajzer is a classic hero of the series, but with a mistake. It’s always someone else.

In 1948, in the fragile post‑war countryside of socialist Yugoslavia, Marjeta gives birth to twins, Metod and Cilka. His impulsive behavior brings him into repeated conflict with society and the law, eventually leading to psychiatric treatment. After returning home and taking a job as a warehouseman, he appears outwardly stable, but inwardly deteriorates under the weight of alcohol, hallucinations, and relentless inner turmoil — until one night, the monster he has long concealed finally emerges.
