In 1937, Guglielmo Marconi’s final months are marked by conflict—between his faith in science and the dark turn of Mussolini’s Italy, between public myth and private doubt.

The efforts of a special paramilitary anti-terrorism unit set up in the 1970s by a high-ranking police official, Gen. Carlo Alberto Dalla Chiesa.

Giacomo, the main character, 35 years of laziness, is a man who doesn't know and doesn't want to fight. He is a introvert curmudgeon, a little bit nerd but not very social, who walks with the look downward on his device without giving to the people what they would like from him: only a little bit of attention and enthusiasm. He loses his job, he is left by his wife and coincidentally he remains closed in the women's bathroom of the art-house cinema, together with the owner's small dog.

The encounter between physics and cinema and the terribly topical subject of the end of the world turned the set of Liliana Cavani's The order of time into a kind of Noah's Ark, where cast and crew isolated themselves for five weeks. Flooded by the climate emergency, wars, and the dystopian future, while Cavani holds the helm of the ship and Carlo Rovelli explains the end of time, the film's meteorite becomes in the documentary a metaphor for what happens in the protagonists' real lives.
