This is the rhythm of the night (¿Esas Son Reebok o Son Nike?). Shot on 500T.

A roll and a half made to delight in color and the presence of friends. Steps toward learning to read in the dark.

A playful engagement with memory and moving images, employing experimental visuals, voice journals, and staged dialogs.

In February of 2023, Nicholas came to Berlin, exhausted from not sleeping the night before and catching a flight at the crack of dawn. I asked him to sit down and be filmed for a part of a then-gestating idea for a new film. He was interviewed on camera for about 10 minutes, and then I stopped asking questions. He was so exhausted he started to fall asleep on camera. Nearly a year later, he recorded an improvised sound piece to soundtrack the images. Now the two are finally united, to share with the public for the first time. The vignetting (and the reason I was able to zoom smoothly and quickly) is from using a C-mount lens from my Bolex on a GH4.

A tribute to friends near and far. S8 - 50D, shot in March 2025, in NYC and Berlin

a little vacation at the star park. thank you phili for pointing out key moments to film the light and animals.

A portrait of Lorem in three iterations: null, Flare, and Lord.

Filmed on vacation with dear friends on Magheraclogher Beach near the village of Bunbeg and on Tory Island, both in Ireland. An excerpt from the longer work in-progress, 'Self Portrait at 34'. Two rolls of 16mm, edited in-camera. Shot on 50D and Ektachrome. 'Loinnir' is an Irish word which means " faint or veiled and tremulous gleam or shining; a glimmer", referring simultaneously to light reflected on the waves and the warm internal feeling which stems from quality time spent with friends. The camera shutter decided to add to the feeling on this occasion. Éirinn go Brách!

A call for life while surrounded by the tranquility of death. Remembering the warmth of the sun from the thick of the snow. Seeking sight through movement.
