One day during the Covid pandemic, when classes are being held online, the teacher who is concerned about the students who have not attended the online classes decides to visit them. Also the mother of a four-year old, she buckles her daughter into the car and takes off for the students’ houses.

Amir is eight years old. He has lost his father and lives with his mother in a hill far from their village. They have a small coal mine and are struggling to be completely independent. But, the owner of a big mine in that area is trying to take control of the whole mountain. Amir’s mother dies in the mine and the village’s council decides to bring Amir, who is living in the mountain all by himself now, back to the village. But he resists strongly against their decision since he wants to realize his mother’s intentions and wishes.

Bahareh gets disabled in an accident just a few months after the start of the school year. According to the Ministry of Education, she must continue her education in special school. Bahareh refuses to go to special school and tries to convince her former school to accept her. However, existing laws prevent the return of Bahareh to the regular school and she remains suspended. Bahareh and her mother fight to solve this problem.

Ali Qavitan, the independent director of the Iranian cinema, has decided to make a film about Sohrab Sepehri, a contemporary Iranian painter and poet, due to his apparent resemblance to him. However, in order to reach Sohrab Sepehri’s thoughts and romances, he travels to Kashan, the hometown of the painter-poet. Inspired by the surroundings, the countryside and the gardens he starts discovering new aspects of the poet’s childhood and middle-aged days, as well as the last days of his life, when he was concerned about completing the story of his book Blue Room.
