Transworld - Interface

TransWorld SKATEboarding is proud to present our 24th video, The Cinematographer Project. We’ve assembled 13 of skateboarding’s finest filmmakers to each produce their own original three-to-five minute short. The result is a truly creative and diverse take on the current world of skateboarding. Featuring: Jon Holland, Mike Manzoori, Bill Strobeck, Russell Houghten, Dan Wolfe, Chris Ray, Brennan Conroy, Beagle, Torsten Frank, Lee Dupont, RB Umali, Christopher Middlebrook, Alien Workshop

Filmed in stunning locations around the world (including Los Angeles, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco and Phoenix in the United States and Barcelona, Malaga and Valencia in Spain), this reflective film talks to five of the industry's greatest skaters (Leo Romero, Omar Salazar, Shiloh Greathouse, Richard Angelides and Ryan Gallant) to find out when skateboarding stopped being "just a hobby" and became a way of life.

Sight Unseen remains a veritable how-to when it comes to crafting a proper skate video: from John Cardiel setting the template for all-terrain skating to Tosh Townend’s break-out part, the frenzy of Dustin Dollin to Heath Kirchart’s timeless skating paired with “Nights In White Satin.” Top it all off with Henry Sanchez crawling out from retirement to give his final one-two punch to skateboarding.

Transworld SKATEboarding proudly presents their 21st video, "Right Foot Forward", by Jon Holland and Chris Ray. Featuring skating from D.C.'s own Bobby Worrest, L.A.'s two wheeled wing lover Joey Brezinski, San Diego's best kept secret Kellen James, Nor Cal's brutal assassin Corey Duffel, and legendary Portland shredder, Matt Beach, who unveils his first full length part since 2003. The name suggests that all the featured skaters are "goofy footed", yet it also reflects the fact that these five guys are moving in the right direction and going to any means necessary to make this one of the best Transworld videos in recent memory.

Skateboarding is undeniably affecting our society. From waxed-up ledges, scraped-up rails, and wheel-stained walls to talk shows, TV commercials, magazine features, movies, and lawsuits. Whether embraced or shunned, skateboarding has continued to shine. Six professionals reveal the reason they skateboard.
