The Unreason

Aboard a small escape pod, four survivors try to discover what caused the destruction of their spaceship.

Best friends Ruth and Megan run a vintage shop in North London. One day, their lives are forever turned upside down when an abandoned time machine appears outside their shop. Mixing reality with fantasy, we explore the strange and outlandish world of The Unreason, as the girls traverse space and time sourcing items to sell.

A grief stricken captain embarks on his final mission in command of an ageing cargo ship. The ship's small crew, frustrated and discontent with their lives in deep space try to complete a successful mission, but the ship has ideas of it's own. Soon, an 'accident' onboard forces a diversion to Somnus, a derelict asteroid station in a forgotten sector of the solar system. They soon discover the colony is populated by a mysterious and sinister cult, hell-bent on dark plans for Earth. The crew's hope of sanctuary on Somnus soon turns to peril, as they fight for their own survival against the colonists, and humanity's ultimate fate. Terrifying truths about the end of life on Earth soon force the captain to face up to his personal torment leading to a climatic and exciting conclusion.

Seven people and their desperate search for escape, only one will survive. The last performance of a pantomime is held at an old, isolated theater in provincial England. The show has been a disaster, attracting only a handful of locals. The final party afterwards turns out even worse and some of the cast and crew slip away for their own private session in the creepy basement. Amongst the group are the enviable pantomime leads and real-life lovers Clarice and Nathan, currently not speaking, the womanizing director Derrick and the thirty-something, obscure stage assistant Janet. As their bash kicks off Derrick disappears, only to be found with his throat savagely slashed. When they discover that they're locked in the next victim dies. The killing continues. Paranoia grows. Nobody can be trusted.
