La máquina del diablo

Nacho and Memo start working as night watchmen in a Tequila factory. It is a stormy night. As soon as they recognize themselves alone in the middle of the huge industry, they get ready to drink and then they discover an intruder inside the facilities. It is Don Catarino, an old beggar who lives off the mercy of the employees and is the one who warns them that a lost soul usually appears in that factory on stormy nights. He pleads with them to ignore her and not allow her to involve them in her troubles. As soon as he disappears, a woman asks them for help to shelter from the storm.

A female vampire falls in love with a man she met in a bar. A male vampire invites a pregnant woman and her friends to watch his theatre play. These two vampires are husband and wife.

Three destinies collide in a ferocious underworld: a former porn actor turned hitman seeking to retire, a hermit with a lupine delusion thirsting for revenge, and a young gigolo torn between crime and love. Everything erupts in black humor and desire.

The mysterious hermafrodite figure reminds him of the loss of his father at the sea during his childhood, and triggers sexual impulses and desires of destruction in him.

In 2010, the mining company Tayahua, from Carlos Slim, began the eviction of 150 families from the Salaverna community in Zacatecas, with the intention of starting an open-air mining project. More than 100 families are evicted, but 35 decided to stay. It’s been three years and the families that stayed has to take the pressure from the company and the government, who are looking to expel them.

A woman returns to Mexico and during her visit, her daughter is kidnapped by a priest who is manipulated by a witch from the region.
