Bijli, an orphan, works on a farm and develops a close bond with her goat, Ramu. Her life changes when she falls in love with Vijay and gets married to him.

Two friends are hired to kill General Prabhakar. They kidnap the general but have a change of heart when they learn that he actually tried to help them.

He also gets ostracized when he objects to keeping the lord waiting for the caretaker to come and start the pooja on time. One thing leads to another and he gets thrown out of the city.
