The Newest City in the World

Little Fatmir, whose parents have worked in a construction site, dreams of building himself a town. In his efforts to make his dream a reality, the kindergarten teacher and a workman who brings in working tools for all his friends, assist him. Within the courtyard of a kindergarten, the newest town in the world is thus erected, where children's dreams and characters are revealed.

Whiteness

Film inspired by the harsh winter of 1985. The film follows two storylines: the story of a young girl who studies to become a nurse and the story of some pilots who have to make a delivery.

Sakos’s Wedding

On Holidays

A group of children pass the vacation in the shore of Adriatic. Among them is also Detini a self isolated and shy boy. His friends play with him so he thinks to leave them. But his close friend Gjini helps him to recover and integrate with the others.

Lamerica

Fiore, an Italian conman, arrives in post Communist Albania with Gino, his young apprentice, to set up a shoe factory that will never open. The con requires a native Albanian, so they designate Spiro, an impoverished and confused former political prisoner as chairman of the board. When Fiore returns to Italy to get government funds for the project, Spiro unexpectedly disappears and Gino sets out on a journey to find him. The search leads him to discover Spiro's tragic personal history and witness Albanian poverty firsthand.
