The Bride and the Zombies

In a world where everyone is watched, where freedoms are increasingly reduced, Benoît and Rosalie are going to have their best day ever.

Bob and Rosalie live in a world and society that, at first glance, seems rather strange and completely crazy. And when you dig a little deeper, well... it doesn't get any better. Their only escape: a bar located in a secret place where a rock band is going to perform. On the other hand, Bob Jacobs, a die-hard fan of the band Blood Baby-Sitters, lives with his mother, who believes that cats are aliens. He believes in something completely different. He is convinced that a virus in the air will kill him if he doesn't drink the blood of innocent young girls. And finally, Rosalie Dubois lives with her father, who loves to prepare marinades all day long, and her grandmother, who smokes like a chimney. The latter no longer believes in God and has joined forces with a mysterious individual called "the butcher" with a single goal: to eradicate the entire human race from the face of the Earth because, let's face it, we all know... None of us deserve to live!

But that is about to change, once a film crew meticulously documents his mission. The crew in question incredulously accepts his offer, hoping for some X-FILES slapstick while Joe himself is leaning more towards BOWLING FOR COLUMBINE. Literally, seeing as he’s taken up the bad habit of slaying anything that moves. A hooker here, a junkie there.

From 1996 until today, 33 violent murders are perpetrated during the Halloween period in Belgium by a serial killer who calls himself "the clown". We are on the eve of Halloween. Vincent hates this party and for good reason: his father committed suicide during this period. That morning, he receives a call from his friend Alice to babysit her cats because she has to be away for a few days. On the way, he realizes that he is being chased by a strange, masked man. But what bothers him the most is people’s ability to have discussions without listening to each other… Feeling betrayed by the world, our Belgian Joker embarks on a vengeful Odyssey, accompanied by his big eared pink demon.

A madcap director takes his cast and crew to a location once rumored to be home to a cannibal family, with the plan of shooting an amateur horror film. Scripts and preparation turn out to be completely unnecessary, and chaos soon ensues. But the real madness has yet to begin—because the legend isn’t as far-fetched as they thought. The psychopaths in question are still very much present. In fact, one of them harbors his own ambition to direct horror films and is handed the perfect opportunity on a silver platter.
