The Silent Party

Joaquín has just turned 40, he has a ringing in his ears and he knows little about himself. His emotional and work life have no direction. His girlfriend is 20 years younger. When he meets Maria again, he falls in love. The idea of leaving his girlfriend, his job, and recovering his apartment is the beginning of a new life... But order always must become from the inside.

Sangrita drives home at night after being told there are two naked girls awaiting him in his bed. Someone has arranged for the girls to be sexually aroused artificially by anesthetics, and filmed by an old man who'll stop at nothing to record the encounter on video. The two men and two girls wait inside a luxury mansion waiting for Sangrita, who's taking longer than expected to arrive.

Víctor Maytland is approaching the end of his career. After years of work, his producer decides to stop financing his pornographic films, overflowing with narrative ideas and social content. His curious craft seems to be dying. In the shadows of his studio, during nights of desperation and obsessive writing, surrounded by papers and clouds of tobacco, he begins to shape a new project, the most absurd and crazy of his life. And so, with the meager resources he manages to gather, he sets out to undertake one last challenge: to make one last film, this time based on his memories as a young Peronist activist.
