On the eve of the New Year, a Belgian plane carrying a group of Antarctic researchers crashes in the area of the Pearl Mountains. Only the Soviet expedition responds to their call for help. For several days, Soviet pilots, despite the weather conditions and risking their own lives, set out in search of the Belgians...

A short diploma film based on a fairy tale by Yemelian Bukov and directed by Sergei Parajanov. The film was made in 1952, since that moment it was considered to be lost, but finally it was found in VGIK in 2025.

The action takes place in one of the major port cities of the North. Young welder Mark Talalin and foreman Ilya Besedin cannot find the true reasons for their disagreements and conflicts.

Portraying events in the life of the artist from childhood up to his death, the movie addresses in particular his relationships with women, including his muse. The production tells Sayat-Nova's dramatic story by using both his poems and largely still camerawork, creating a work hailed as revolutionary by Mikhail Vartanov.

1942 The Great Patriotic War is in full swing. The German command begins an intensified struggle with partisan detachments. One of these detachments, operating in Polissya, is surrounded by enemy troops. There is only one way out of this situation - it is necessary to disorient the enemy and break through the cordon. But how to do that?

The hero of the film, academician Sergei Vasilyevich Lunin, director of the Kiev Research Institute of Informatics, is working on the implementation of the Unity project in the enterprises of a single department. According to his calculations, this global information network should significantly reduce the number of intermediate instances and, accordingly, the decision-making time. Lunin has opponents. Despite a sharp deterioration in health, the hero goes to the Novogorsk Tractor Plant and there he finds out the real reason for the downtime, and, consequently, the reason for hiding the data. Knowing that he has only six months to live, Lunin abandons the operation and does everything possible to protect his project.

The evil wizard Black Whirlwind steals the herd of a shepherd boy named Andriesh along with his faithful dog Lupar. Andriesh sets off to rescue them. On the way, he receives a magical flute as a gift, which helps him find his way to the wizard's castle — and comes to the aid of Black Whirlwind's numerous victims, who have long suffered from the tyrant's misdeeds. Based on a Moldovan fairy tale by Emilian Bukov.

After the wedding, the young people decide to leave for Bulgaria, where the struggle for freedom has been going on for 400 years. But, never having reached his homeland, Insarov dies...
