There is no right or wrong in the world that Miguel, an East L.A. teenager, and his father live in, only choices. One's an American, the other an immigrant, and though they are son and father, they are separated by a culture that threatens to tear them apart.

Sheltered by his grandparents, Luke, a young man with autism, is thrust into a world that doesn't expect anything from him. But Luke is on a quest for a job and true love. And he isn't taking no for an answer.

Allan is a married father of three whose sex life takes another hit when his wife can no longer take the pill. He soon finds himself with an appointment for a vasectomy and a nagging identity crisis. Although he is by all reasonable accounts a good, responsible man, the thought of getting "fixed" drives him to lose himself to an action-packed midlife crisis along with his best friends. Allan will refuse to grow up anymore.

Viva la Causa tells the story of a small group of abused California farm workers who, led by Cesar Chavez, put themselves on the line after launching a strike and a national boycott against the multimillion-dollar California grape industry.
