The Old Man Movie

A father and his son are losing the race. To win, the boy turns himself into a car tyre. Sierra looks at toxic masculinity through dark irony, while pulling us into the surreal car racing world. Loosely inspired by the director's childhood, this animated black comedy includes fragments of a stop motion film animated by the director's father during Soviet Estonia.

An average guy of an Estonian high-school decides to defend his bullied classmate. This starts a war between him and the informal leader of the class.

A stray dog gives birth to the main character Poo, on a marvellous spring day. The young Poo befriends a Sparrow, who educates him in ways of life. Observing loving sparrow family’s ventures from his shanty throughout autumn and winter, a desire for a beloved arises in Poo’s heart.

It's Christmas Eve, and Peter is itching to hit the countryside and claim his gifts from Santa. The paths of all of them cross in Türna's home village, on the solstice night.

The Neighbor Girl that lives in the village has caught the eye of both the Old Man and the Neighbour Man.

A mysterious Gasworm steals the Old Man's prized pig. Now the Old Man has 24 hours to defuse the pig bomb or the whole village will blow up!

Based on Andrus Kivirähk's books "Poo and spring", "Carnival and Potato Salad" and "Ghost and Facebook", the film tells about longing, friendship, love, family and fears, which often have big eyes. The adventures of the strange characters are spiced with the characteristic warm and bold humor of Kivirähk, wittily weaving together the boundless fantasy of children and the living conditions of the modern world.
