Believing she's responsible for the death of her would-be seducer, a young woman flees to North Vancouver.

Meanwhile, her father, Tammas, pays back the stolen money with funds given him by Susie Simpson, a woman who hopes to marry him. Susie gets angry, so Bunty borrows money to pay her back. Things turn out well when Bunty gets married in a double-wedding ceremony—during which her father not only gives her away but gets married himself. The movie is based on a play by Graham Moffat. The film is lost.

The Toilers (1928)

Myrtle Gross escapes her abusive, alcoholic husband, Jim, taking their baby to Alaska with money and a ticket stolen from Tom Winters. She builds a new life, but years later, her past resurfaces when Jim, having traced her, arrives to confront her, threatening her new existence.

Erstwhile childhood friends, Judah Ben-Hur and Messala meet again as adults, this time with Roman officer Messala as conqueror and Judah as a wealthy, though conquered, Israelite. A disgraced alcoholic surgeon settles in a small village in the Swiss Alps. He falls for Hilda, a servant at the hotel where he lives. He tricks her into marrying him by making her think her lover, Ruffo, has abandoned her. Things don't go quite as planned, however, when Ruffo returns.

It turns out that Le Duc is the head of a vicious gang of counterfeiters, and Roland winds up getting in more adventures than he had hoped for.

A young doctor running a health farm for polio victims is dazzled by a pretty and wealthy society girl, to the detriment of his patients and the woman who really loves him.

Set during the American Civil War, Keenan stars as a Virginia colonel and Charles Ray as his weak-willed son. The son is forced, at gunpoint, by his father to enlist in the Confederate army. He is terrified by the war and deserts during a battle. The film focuses on the son's struggle to overcome his cowardice.
