Simple Women

Single mother Paulette decides to make up for her mistake by cooking a chicken with peppers for her daughter—only she can't cook and shopkeepers are on strike.

Antonia breaks up with her partner, has a fallout with her best friend, and loses her job, all on her birthday. Plus, she discovers she has endometriosis. She decides to undergo therapy, but she only attends the first free sessions. As she strives to get her present life in check, Antonia's exhilarating therapy sessions give us a peek into her past and what it means to be a modern woman.

The story is one of an architect that has lost his inspiration and goes looking for those motivations that pushed him as a youngster to take up the profession. Inspiring him was the baroque movement and all of its artifices: the Guarini in Turin and the Borromini in Rome. The film’s central story ends up being the love story that develops between architecture, artistic inspiration and feelings.

School is over. Benjamin is five years old and goes on vacation to the sea with his mother and 12-year-old sister. "A comme Azur" is the chronicle of this summer which unfolds all the letters of the alphabet.
