Being Mitsuko

Taeko’s friend Maya confesses that she has a crush on Taeko's father. Taeko tells her father and mother. Taeko's mother laughs and Taeko's father acts like its not a big deal. Since then, Maya rushes to Taeko's father.

A gaunt, middle-aged man barely recovered from a serious illness, an awkward company employee, the hosts’ likable son, who comes home late — each of the men on the terrace are captivated by Haruko’s pale, white arms, inflaming the jealousy of the company director’s wife. Literary anecdotes abound, as does petty bickering. The masks they’ve carefully crafted are suddenly torn away, exposing their tainted humanity. Desires, jealousies and secrets are laid bare during 90 minutes on the terrace, culminating in a shocking and not exactly happy ending.

The new enemies, Nahane and Ohanefu, along with the mysterious new Giant Monstrous Beings appear from space to take over the Earth! Holding the key to these events is Shinkalion ALFA-X, which was secretly developed by the Ultra Evolution Institute...!? For Hayato and Team Shinkalion, who had been living in peace, the battle begins again.

Housewife Yoko cares for her elderly father-in-law downstairs while secretly working as a prostitute upstairs, oblivious to the nosy neighbour next door. But one thing is always on Yoko's mind: her hatred for assassinated former prime minister Shinzo Abe.

The Bastard and the Beautiful World is an omnibus film consisting of four episodes. Fujiko is running as fast as she can, being chased after by a creepy masked man called Mad Dog. They meet a talented pianist on the way. A mysterious relationship develops between Utagui, a little girl who eats songs to live and an artist who can't sing anymore. A married couple sets off on a journey to find the right arm of their dead son. As they finally reach a beach in Okinawa, they find? Bastards come together on a night dancefloor for a show.

Compilation film featuring short works from directors Hitoshi Yasaki ("Short Cakes"), Yuki Tanada (scriptwriter "Sakuran," "Tsuki to Cherry"), Hiroyuki Nakano ("Stereo Future," "Samurai Fiction"), Masahiko Nagasawa ("Yoru no Picnic"), Masaya Kakehi ("Bijokan), and more for a total of 18 shorts. This time around the theme is "24 hours," where filming for each work must have been completed in 24 hours in order to appear in this film.

Japan after the end of the Corona disaster. It depicts a couple living with their husband's parents and living under the pressure of a mother-in-law who strongly desires to have grandchildren. This is Kenji Yamauchi's fourth feature film, following AT THE TERRACE (2016), which was screened at the Tokyo International Film Festival.
