The film's events revolve around Abdo (Ahmed Mazhar), who works as a teacher in a girls' school instead of his colleague Jamal (Omar Al-Hariri), who has gained wide popularity among the girls, especially Attiyat (Souad Hosni). Abdo marries his student Atiyat, but their marital relationship experiences a lot of tension because of Abdo's constant suspicion of his wife and his belief that she is having an affair with Jamal.

He returns to Egypt and starts war against Medht, who is trying to take his wife's piece of land.

The wealthy merchant Salama moves from the tannery neighborhood to live in his new building in Mohandessin. His son, Hisham, returns from the war of 73 with a leg injury and PTSD, and his wife, Nadia, clings to him. As for his son, Issam, he owns a boutique, and his girlfriend, Nana, supplies him with goods from abroad, including medicine for his father. Salama decides to marry Nana, so Issam gets rid of her so that she will not share the inheritance with them.

Ashraf works for the Baher Tourism Company. After returning from Beirut to buy a brilliant car. It turns out that the car was a smuggler for a gang headed by Murad together with Baher. Baher discovers that the checks that Ashraf signed for the price of the car had been stolen, thus Ashraf becomes its owner. His friends take advantage of the opportunity to pretend each of them in front of his girlfriend to own the car. Baher kidnapped Madiha, Ashraf's fiancée, to pressure him to return checks, thinking that he was hiding them.
