With fine watercolour strokes, Daniela de Felice paints the portrait of a young woman in love and with a true passion for politics. The film takes us back to the Italy of the 1990s, between Berlusconi’s rise to power and the final reverberations of the 20th century. Ardenza is unexpected and moving, with riveting sensitivity and sensuality.

Fred Deux and Cécile Reims are major twentieth century artists. Over a period of several months, Matthieu Chatellier filmed them in the privacy of their peinting and engraving work. The film focuses on a precise time in their lives: the time of ageing, dispossession and questions about the hereafter.

Yesterday, I overheard an old rock ’n’ roll song that sounded familiar. This is probably the music that we used to listen to on my dad’s mechanical devices—the thousand-lives man, the king of the juke-box.

Jann Gallois is a dancer and choreographer. Her body is her work tool. Always looking for the right movement, she twists it, bends it, stretches it, breaks it. But memories reappear and the body’s memory, excessively in demand, awakens old wounds. How does this dancer, who says she is "passed through by others and by herself", live with her body?

Others have told his story. Biographies, ex-wives or ex-friends talking about him in various themed documentaries, Gainsbourg never lost the spotlight, as if he had died just a few months ago, in a never-ending cycle of life... But never before had her story been told in her own words, rocky, moving, provocative. Thanks to Christian Fevret, founder of Les Inrockuptibles, Serge Gainsbourg recorded the story of his life on audiocassette, for a 7-hour interview conducted in the secluded confines of his Paris home, 5 bis rue de Verneuil, in 1990. Throughout the interview, Serge Gainsbourg never loses his sense of humor or his distance from a life he knows he has lost sight of.
