The Bulldozer

In the blasting heat of a Friday afternoon in Cairo, a group of people – among them a movie star, a thief, a madman, a cook and a pregnant woman – find themselves trapped in an elevator for 12 hours.

When her stepfather tries to rape her, Amal kills him and flees. She finds refuge in the house of the fine artist Ahmed Khaled who falls for her, but his protégé, the sculptor Sherif, also falls for her and competes with Ahmed to win her favor.

The novelist Sami Al-Bagouri finds himself in trouble when he is caught between his jealous wife Zahra and the ghost of his late wife Fekria who discovers that he took another wife.

Nemat (Lebleba) is a girl searching for her mother who has been away from her for fifteen years and has traveled to Casablanca. Nemat is upset with her father Afifi Bey (Ahmed Mazhar) who does not want to help her, so she decides to return to Egypt to get her mother's inheritance. She meets Ahmed (Hatem Zulfikar) who invites her to dinner. While they are eating, they meet Najaf (Safiya Al-Omari) and Khashaba (Abdel Moneim Madbouly), the show artists, who we discover are related to Ahmed and are a group of swindlers.
