Deliria

The Camera Obscura (latin for Dark Chamber) is an optical device that led to the photographic camera. It consists of a box or a room with a hole on one side. This film is a reconstruction of an event that took place near the border of Austria and Hungary in the Summer of 2015.

A girl looks out over a snow-covered garden where everything seems to lie eeriely still. Further into the house lies her sick mother in her bed. When a strange being shows up outside the window, the borders between dream and reality, life and death, cease in this experimental horror poem.

A sung and rhymed story that delights us with the more sinister aspects of nursery rhymes. One by one, four children enter a bucolic labyrinth and come face to face with their fears. Based on a horror ballad by Scottish poet Helen Adam.
