Jamal has a sick wife at home to take care of. Hussein Agha who is Jamal’s colleague likes his daughter, Shirin. Dr. Cyrus Amin is also in love with her, but his mother is against the relationship.

A relatively wealthy family takes a child from a village to the city to serve in their house. The child patiently and dedicatedly uses his minimal free time for education and becomes an active and valuable person in his youth. While Hamid, the eldest son of the family, who grew up in prosperity, becomes a delinquent youth. The two fall in love with a young girl.

In Tehran, a young man struggles between keeping his integrity and joining a band of criminals to prosper for the woman he loves.

A girl is abducted by criminals, and a young man happens to be aware of this kidnapping, pursues the criminals, and after several conflicts, finally frees the girl and arrests the criminals.

Toofan, an uncategorisable film which moves freely between horror and comedy; documentary, musical and sci-fi, was the first production of Khachikian’s own studio, Azhir Film. After the censor banned Khachikian from making a film about the first serial killer of the modern era in Iran, he turned to one of his own stories, exploring his preferred themes of compassion and evil. Shot both in the studio and on location, it features a memorable sequence of Bonfire Wednesday and a ruin which was rumoured to be a former Qajar era torture dungeon.

A group of thieves, including a girl, commits a big robbery. During the robbery, one of them is seriously injured. Thieves kidnap a doctor and carry him over the injured person's head. Then they hide and wait for their colleague to recover. Meanwhile, the girl meets a young man who is a police detective...

Haji Jabbar is a wealthy man, who is chided constantly by his family for avarice. Haji intends to marry off his daughter, Parvin, to a wealthy old man. He has no regard for the love existing between Parvin and her cousin. He does not care for his son, Hamid, who, due to negligence, is on the verge of a breakdown. In an elaborate fantasy sequence which makes up the last third of the film, Haji finds himself in hell, witness to all sorts of macabre and elaborate tortures and horrors. The film is noted for its elaborate set pieces which recall Méliès. There is even a sequence involving Hitler in hell!

Two sisters from an aristocrat family fall in love with the son of their driver. Finally the little sister retreat for the oldest sister to get marry with him.

A truck is moving from the south to Tehran. On the way, during an accident, a fugitive passenger secretly gets into the truck...

Mehran meets Safar in a café, and Safar, on behalf of his boss Qobad, suggests to Mehran that they kill Master Nouri and his daughter Mojgan in their hunting ground. When Mehran reaches "Sheitan-Kooh", he falls into a deep pit and Mojgan saves him and takes him to their house and bandages his wounds.
