The performing poet and artist Emil Jensen dreams that he is an antelope playing football on the savannah with other grass-eaters.

Johannes is 11 years old and dreams of a rope blocking his and his friend's way when they are on their way home from school. When he grabs the rope, he realizes that it is "something dangerous going on". A huge spider pops up and chases the kids, who are eventually saved by a heroic old woman.

The year is 1974 and the toddler mother Diana's marriage is problematic. Then a friendly man shows up in Diana's dreams. She falls in love with him and, most of all, just wants to keep on sleeping.
