Concrete Grey Abstract

At 25 de Março Street, you can find anything you fancy: water, restaurants, toys, dancing mascots, wigs, and social media followership! Filmed in Super-8 by a collective of artists, “Ambulantes” is a walk through one of the busiest streets in Latin America.

Amid São Paulo’s rapid urbanization, Praça Homero Silva endures as a green refuge and a symbol of community, memory, and ecological balance. The documentary sheds light on the social, environmental, and cultural significance of this space, known for its many natural springs and its extensive area of native vegetation. By highlighting the community’s relationship with the square, the film invites reflection on the preservation of common goods and the right to the city.
