A group of young people with Down syndrome embark on a demanding trek through the Himalayas with their siblings. As they deal with physical and emotional challenges, unresolved conflicts come to surface and heartwarming friendships develop.

Four women and four men who make up a mosaic of Israeli society, meet for a therapeutic photography group led by Israel Prize winning photographer Alex Liebek for a year. Each and every one of the group's participants is related in one way or another to post-trauma. It has a mother of a post-traumatic, a wife of, a child of, a woman who served as an observer, and four men of various ages, some of whom are not diagnosed or recognized as post-traumatic. From Liebek's iconic photos and from photos that the participants bring themselves, an intuitive and authentic discourse develops about post-trauma as a social phenomenon that has penetrated every home in Israel, about audio-visual images as shapers of consciousness and also about the way to grow from trauma through sharing, recognition, creation, humanity and compassion.

Not a great deal of archival material about Wilfrid Israel has survived but, with the aid of photographs, a few documents, eyewitness interviews, and archival material relating to the rise of the Nazis, Yonatan Nir and his colleagues have created a fascinating picture of a man who was driven by his determination to save as many lives as possible. He saw the writing on the wall long before the great majority of German Jews and decided to use his great wealth for the rescue of as many people as possible. For example, he provided the finance for the creation of a children's settlement in Palestine, helped hundreds of his employees to emigrate (paying them two years' wages!), and not only inspired the Kindertransport movement but supported the operation financially.

At Jabotinsky Hostel in Tel Aviv, 23 autistic adults live together. Through Adi’s camera, a window opens onto a world of connection, difference, friendship, and hope.
