Water Colours

During August 1943 the Nazis advance is stopped. In Sweden there are both German Gestapo agents and Norwegian Resistance men active.

The film is a story about the self destructive behavior. It is a narrative about a divided self, someone that exposes herself, drives herself hard, and at the other end someone who is being exposed and tormented.

Ten chapters, all dedicated to one thing or an environment.

The character in the red dress is self-confident but a bit numb. The character in the blue dress is full of feelings but hasn’t found her place in life.

A film about existential questions and self chosen childlessness, filmed in winter landscapes.

A movie about the desire to sing and the difficulty of singing right in tune.
