Amelia is the sole survivor on a damaged spaceship. Caught in the gravitational pull of a planet, she struggles with grief and isolation. When a mysterious presence appears, she is torn between the past and the future.

«A heroine's quest» portrays the Muslim woman Naima Serroukh as she sets up her pilot project Tasamouh to combat religious extremism. Naima's story is told as she goes about her work as manager of the project and gives us an insight into the world of prevention work. Besides her search for financing and partners, her personal conflicts, she gives advice to distraught mothers, coaches young people and tries to provide them with support in their integration process. «A heroine's quest» paints the portrait of a strong woman, who has come to accept that progress can only be made in tiny baby steps, but at the end of the day, it's all about making life together a bit better. A portrait of an everyday heroine. An impression of the Muslim community in the fight against prejudice.

Unopened reminders, mountains of debt, an uncertain future: single-parent cleaner Nathalie struggles through life to secure her livelihood and that of her children. She doesn't want pity or charity and certainly doesn't want to end up on welfare. Episodic and unembellished, the film portrays a woman living at subsistence level, in the middle of Switzerland, in our midst. A woman for whom giving up is not an option.

They live in its shadow, venerate and fear it, its whims dominate their destiny: the Iddu volcano has determined the lives of the inhabitants of Stromboli for centuries. Tourist streams and trekking queues to the volcano fill the coffers, but a violent eruption like the one in 2019 abruptly tears the island into a different reality. The force of nature confronts the population with drastic changes and questions about sustainability and mass tourism.
