A group of the world’s leading scientists take up the fight and isolate themselves for ten days in a secluded spot in the desert of New Mexico to develop real solutions for today’s most urgent problems - and there is plenty to choose from. They come from all scientific disciplines and represent the environment, the economy, democracy, social media, education and artificial technologies. In just ten days, they want to start a movement with an ambitious goal: to secure the future of humanity through science, both in theory and in practice. 50 years ago Jørgen Lauersen Vig bought Hesbjerg Castle, situated in the Danish country side, with the purpose of turning it into a monastery. Now, many years later, he is about to realize his old dream. A group of Russian Orthodox nuns are on their way, and thus Mr. Vigs life-long dream is about to come true. But, nuns have plans and wills of their own, and Mr. Vig must realize that the road to fulfilling his dream is very different than what he imagined.

Over a four-year period, from 2012 to 2016, we follow Anders Matthesen through thick and thin. There are the frustrations leading up to a show and the huge sense of relief when the positive reviews start rolling in. There are flashbacks to Anders’s younger days and several scenes in which Matthesen reflects on what it means to be a creative artist.
