Based on the novel by Güzide Sabri, the film tells the story of a woman suffering from a forbidden love.

A guy is excited to meet his girlfriend tonight. His friends persuade the man, who does not want to go out until the meeting time, to take him out. However, the night does not progress as expected and dreams and reality are mixed with each other.

The film traces the life of Çakırcalı Mehmet Efe, a Zeybek (active as an outlaw in the region enclosing İzmir, Aydın, Denizli, Muğla and Antalya in modern western Turkey, from 1893 to 1910) whose father, Çakırcalı Koca Ahmet Efe was murdered by an Ottoman sergeant.
