Years after a divorce divides their family in half, six siblings encounter each other by chance and try to get their parents back together.

Kara Bayram is a poor farmer living in a Turkish village with his wife, 3 kids (4th on the way) and his old mother Irazca Ana. They live on their own until another villager, Haceli who is backed up by the Mukhtar (local administrator of the Village) starts to build a new house right in front of their's. Kara Bayram and Irazca Ana do not accept these uninvited neighboors from the first day and unwanted events start right away.

To bid for his beloved's hand in marriage, poor villager Feyzo must come up with an enormous dowry to appease her father.

In this film that wavers unsteadily between a comedy and a tragedy, Murtaza (Mujdat Gezen) is a deluded security guard whose fanatical reverence for "duty" verges on the psychotic. Sevtap and Adem, the postman in the neighborhood, are in love with each other. Sevtap remained single until the age of 30 because no one liked her, so she is still a virgin and has settled for Adem. However, there is someone who opposes this love, her older brother Latif, who was raised in German culture but can be described as a complete fool. One day, Sevtap and Adem send a telegram from Sevtap's father's mouth to convince him to accept the situation. After this telegram, wedding preparations begin. However, during this time, Latif returns permanently from Germany to Turkey, and the truth about the couple is revealed. Latif opposes the marriage at any cost, even if it means harming Adem. Later, despite his reservations, he accepts the marriage and fulfills Adem's every request.

When work accidents in a coal mine start to result in death, İlyas warns his colleagues working in the mine. It starts to collect signatures for the necessary measures to be taken, but the necessary solidarity among the workers cannot be established. A tent theater that comes to the region further complicates things.

Ali, an honest and honorable man, moves to Istanbul when he is transferred there. He moves in with his sister Hacer and brother-in-law Yakup. Yakup's niece Ayşe also lives in the same house. From the day he starts his job as a civil servant, Ali reacts against the swindlers and bribe-takers around him. As a result, his boss and other civil servants become uncomfortable with the situation. When Yakup runs away with the money he collected to build a mosque, Ali and Ayşe are left alone. Not wanting to leave each other, the two get married. Ali is fired from his job for preventing the civil servants from taking bribes and goes to the village with Ayşe. Yakup, who has fled to Istanbul, calls Ali and Ayşe to join him at his insistence. Ali and his family, who go to Yakup's side out of desperation, will never be able to escape their troubles.

A tycoon tries to teach some life lessons to his three spoiled sons by making them work on the floor of his factory, where one of them falls in love.
