Paris, autumn 2015. In Philippe Dayan's analysis office, a surgeon in disarray in love, a couple in crisis, a suicidal teenager follow one another day after day. On a November evening, killers enter Paris.

Chloe is a young woman who leads a small and happy life, letting herself be happily by the things of life... with a certain nonchalance. But visceral physical pain makes herself bend little by little. Where does this mysterious illness come from? Will Chloe succeed in getting rid of it ?

May 6th, 2007: Alice, a socialist activist, still believes in Ségolène Royal and decides to do everything in her power to help the socialist candidate win. Unfortunately, nothing goes as expected.

In the middle of a performance at la Comédie-Française, an actor dies on stage, poisoned. Martin, member of the troupe and friend of the victim, becomes the center of everyone’s attention. Suspected by the police, he’s also chased by a mysterious organization, Le Parfum vert, that seems to have ordered the murder.

Pierre Blum, 40, is a writer who had his time of glory in the early 2000s. One evening, on a casino terrace, he meets Joseph Paskin. This mysterious man, charismatic and manipulative, is influential in the world of politics and persuades Pierre to take on a strange mission that takes him back to a past he’d prefer to forget, and puts his life in danger. In the middle of all this, Pierre falls in love with Laura, a young extreme-left activist. But in this world of subterfuge, who can really be trusted?

As he is about to separate from his partner, with whom he lives in Eastern France, 49-year-old Léo learns of the death of his biological father whom he never knew. Before traveling to Italy to deal with the inheritance, he spends a few days in Paris to take stock of his life. Between conversations with his activist daughter and encounters with ghosts from his past, he begins to question his very existence, and, above all, his relationships with women.

Hugues tells the odd story to Allison, who has heard it before and wants to know what’s in the backpack. It’s all circling around, and it’s also the split of a couple during strange times.
