During the New Year eve Alexey is trying to get back his first love.

A gang of crooks robbing cash collectors, run into a police surveillance team and the inadequate police response results in a gunfight. At this point she cannot know that the gang leader's life-and-death struggle with the police is destined to lead to a media duel. Besieged in a huge apartment block, the crooks hold hostage a father and his son and daughter. A massive special forces rescue operation is mounted but fails miserably.

During the Civil War in Russia a group of White Guard officers is trying to rescue the family of the tsar Nicholas II captured by Bolsheviks. The officers face betrayal and fight a Red Army detachment sent to eliminate them. It is the Red Army commander against the head of the White Guard group. The only thing that matters is who will be the first to reach the tsar placed under arrest in Yekaterinburg...

The film portraits a complicated journey thru life, love and hate of a homosexual in Russia. Before an important audition, the opera teacher recommends sleep, walks and Schubert. Feeling lost, desperate and rebellious, Erik does the exact opposite (except for the Schubert bit), spending his nights with a disillusioned older colleague and excessive amounts of vodka. Erik has a boyfriend but a chance encounter with the semi-criminal Lyokha awakens passion of a whole new caliber in him.

A teenage girl Vika and a successful but single middle-aged woman get closer in an attempt to take revenge on Zoya’s former lover. They develop a taste for it. They steal and crush his car, burn down his house, and plan to destroy his family.

The film is a satire on the clichés used in sports dramas. Tennisov, a top badminton player, loses in the World Championship final because he decided to use a previously unbeatable shot, the "Unbreakable Candle." Tennisov retires from the sport, but unexpectedly gets a second chance a year later. His former coach invites him to play doubles with the young player Dmitry Malikov at the World Championship.

The one act performance by choreographer Yuri Possokhov pays homage to the celebrated founder of the fashion house that bears her name and features a stunning display of Chanel costumes specially created for the ballet. Created specifically for Zakharova, the ballet "Gabrielle Chanel" recounts the most memorable moments of the work and life of the French fashion designer, who died in 1971 aged 87.

The series is set in the Russian Empire during the second half of the 19th century, against the backdrop of social upheaval and the Russo-Turkish War. At the heart of the story is the romance between Sofya, a student at the Institute for Noble Young Ladies, and the married Count Vorontsov.
