Sisyphus is a journey through the rehabilitation of addictions in Mexico. In the absence of a public infrastructure to combat this problem, the annexes are the alternative that addicts themselves have created. The annexes are unofficial rehabilitation centers in which a method of rehabilitation thought apart from medicine or professional therapy is offered.

Memory is a ghost. Lucio, a printing press worker, takes one last walk around the machines with whom he shared everything. He remembers when his mechanisms used to move and through that mechanical movement he reflects about his own life.

Mara, a 19-year-old woman from San Pedro Sula, came to Mexico fleeing her past. The place where she lived never accepted her, it is something she will not forget. Mara works in a small, dark hotel room. We listen to what she thinks, all the memories, dreams and nightmares that inhabit her mind.

Agustina has been a shepherdess for as long as she can remember. Throughout her life she has had three great loves. Between dreams and memories she sings about everything that has and has not been. Agustina lives with Dionisio in a rural community called El Saltillo in Guanajuato, Mexico. Serranillas are medieval spanish compositions dealing with some kind of amatory adventure in rural landscapes.

In the last 20 years, Daniel Garza has managed to photograph 850 of the 1107 species of birds that inhabit Mexico. Through his observations he has realized the urgency to preserve them.

A young 17 year old girl finds a bird trapped in the factory where she works. She decides to take it home and care for it, until she finally sets it free again. She starts wondering about her decision to escape the terrible atmosphere she lives in to seek her own freedom.
