A documentary crew films heavy metal band Bad News as they have trouble starting their van, pick up a schoolgirl groupie, and meet up with rock journalist Sally at a motorway service station where they argue about the cost of sausage and chips.

Parallel storylines follow English perfume saleswoman Alice Chenery and American comedy writer Gil Raymond, who are seemingly perfect soulmates but never meet, as they deal with their chaotic lives and relationships.

Inspector Morse is a detective drama based on Colin Dexter's series of Chief Inspector Morse novels. The series starred John Thaw as Chief Inspector Morse and Kevin Whately as Sergeant Lewis, as well as a large cast of notable actors and actresses.

Cradle to Grave is a British autobiographical miniseries created by Danny Baker, about his formative years in the 1970s. Produced by ITV Studios for BBC Two, it stars Laurie Kynaston as Danny, with Peter Kay and Lucy Speed as his parents Spud and Bet. In 1974, 15-year-old Danny is our guide through the ups and downs of the Baker family. With eldest daughter Sharon's impending wedding and the docks facing closure, times are challenging. So too are Danny's attempts to get closer to the opposite sex.

Set in the Solana all-inclusive Resort, Benidorm follows the antics of regulars and first-time holiday makers on their journeys abroad.

Roughnecks is a BBC comedy-drama series that ran over two series between 1994 and 1995 on BBC One. The show centred on the working and personal lives of those who worked on the fictional oil rig "The Osprey Explorer" in the North Sea.

Looks can be deceiving. Peter Kingdom seems to have everything — a man of some standing in the seaside town of Market Shipborough, he dresses well and has all the trappings of success. Otis Cooke is a DJ with a late-night American soul music programme in Liverpool. His favorite band, The Tallahassees, disbanded years ago, but their biggest hit, "Pickin' Up the Pieces," was never released in England. The film recounts Cooke's adventures and misadventures as he travels to the U.S., finds the band members, and convinces them to get back together for a reunion tour of the U.K and the release of their old songs on CD.

When Lady Pagwell dies, leaving a legacy to fund local inventing, Professor Branestawm thinks his money troubles are over. But scheming councillor Haggerstone insists an inventing contest be held to decide who gets the cash.
