Macken

Macken is a Swedish 6-part musical sit-com that ran on SVT in 1986. The local authority wants to close down Roy and Roger's gas station and instead build a motorway where it is positioned. Roy and Roger try to stop it, of course. Will they succeed? Will they find the mysteriously lost white Opel?

Grisen i säcken

Grisen i säcken (The Pig in the Sack) is one of GAS's most popular productions. It is divided into three acts: the dance band opera Grisen i säcken, the rural play Värmlänningarna kommer tillbaka (The People of Värmland Return), and finally Doktor Haka's rekordrevy (a revue).

Everyone Must Take a Bath

Alla ska bada premiered on October 4, 1997. The performance begins in the mid-1930s when Frans-Oskar Bryssel is born. After a while, the performance jumps ten years forward in time and we see him when he is 10 years old. He is then played by Per Fritzell. The plot jumps forward ten years at regular intervals until he finally gets to go swimming in the mid-1990s. Throughout the play, topics that were relevant during the era in which the play is set are depicted. For example, the 1930s depict World War II, and the 1980s depict mobile telephony.

Åke från Åstol

On the island of Åstol, everything is peaceful and joyful. Around two hundred people live there. One of them is Åke. He works at the island's herring salting factory. The salting factory is the livelihood of the people of Åstol. One day, the owner of the salting factory, the terrible manufacturer Ivar, shows up and announces that he has sold the factory to a summer visitor who plans to tear it down and build a summer house instead. A crisis erupts on the otherwise peaceful Åstol. What will happen to the islanders if their main source of income disappears? It's a terrible thought. Åke is persuaded to start a course on the mainland, Tjörn. Tjörn is just over 10 minutes by boat from Åstol, but for Åke it becomes a nasty journey into a terrible world. The course turns out to be a computer training course, and Åke has a brainwave. He's going to sell herring over the internet!

På spåret is a popular Swedish TV game show broadcast on SVT since September 5, 1987. The show, which is intended to be humorous yet educational, has remained one of the most popular TV shows in Sweden, attracting an average of 2,150,000 viewers during the 2007 season. The all-time record was set in March 1990, when 3.7 million people tuned in to see the show. This means that nearly every second Swede saw the game show. På spåret is an original format developed by Ingvar Oldsberg for SVT, and he hosted the show for many years. Author and tennis legend Björn Hellberg was promoted from contestant to permanent Oldsberg sidekick in 1995 after winning for four straight seasons. Famous gourmet, restaurant-owner, and former contestant Carl-Jan Grankvist sat in for Hellberg during the 2004 season. In 2009, after 21 years, Oldsberg left and Kristian Luuk took over as the host. Björn Hellberg too decided to leave and was replaced with Fredrik Lindström.

Tornado is a Swedish tv-show produced by the comedy group Galenskaparna and After Shave. It was aired on Swedish Television (SVT) between 11th of september and 13th of november 1993.

The stationmaster is trying to prevent his station from being closed. The train isn't coming and he has to explain to the waiting trainpassengers why it's late, while other people is trying to get the station for their use; for example the italians, who want to make a pizzeria out of it.

Macken – TV-serien på scen

Thirty years after the cult TV series Macken premiered, Galenskaparna and After Shave return with an acclaimed stage version of the classic. At Roys and Rogers' gas station, a series of colorful and eccentric characters gather once again in a performance filled with humor, music and nostalgia.
